7月から、15年間中国で活躍していた清水惠美さんというアーティストによって10回連続の中国美術の講座シリーズを開催します。３回目のテーマは「1920?1940年代＿人間性＿戦前戦中の芸術家から木刻運動へ」です。留学生、帰国生の新芸術運動が人間性を深く見つめる契機となり、魯迅が提唱した社会と人間をより深く見つめる木刻運動への流れを追って行きます。

China has an ancient tradition of art discourse and responded very differently to the influences of the West. Chinese art since the 1980s has had a phenomenal global impact and to understand this wave of popularity a new 10 part series opens at Kosaten following the developments in modern and contemporary art in China, tracing up on the 1900s onwards, to center its focus on 1980s-2010s, with a rich source of documents, images and films.
